Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Lightly grease a 1.5 qt casserole dish.
  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared casserole dish.
  • Bake for about 25-30, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for at least 10 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  1. Keep a close eye on the brownies while they’re in the oven to avoid over-baking. Check them a few minutes before the recommended baking time is up, as oven temperatures can vary. The brownies should be firm around the edges and slightly soft in the center.
  2. Mix the brownies well to ensure that the bananas are thoroughly incorporated, resulting in a smoother texture without any chunks throughout.
