- 2 ripe bananas mashed
- 2 eggs
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Lightly grease a 1.5 qt casserole dish.
Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared casserole dish.
Bake for about 25-30, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool for at least 10 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
- Keep a close eye on the brownies while they’re in the oven to avoid over-baking. Check them a few minutes before the recommended baking time is up, as oven temperatures can vary. The brownies should be firm around the edges and slightly soft in the center.
- Mix the brownies well to ensure that the bananas are thoroughly incorporated, resulting in a smoother texture without any chunks throughout.
