  • 8 slices deli Black Forest ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate the crescent dough into 8 individual triangles after unrolling.
  • Lay one slice of ham on each triangle of dough, then add a folded slice of Swiss cheese on top.
  • Roll each one tightly, starting from the wide end and moving to the tip, to completely seal the filling inside.
  • Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, melt the butter in a bowl suitable for the microwave. Mix in the garlic powder.
  • Take the rolls out of the oven after 10 minutes and brush the garlic butter onto each one. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
  • Place them back into the oven and bake for an extra 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Finish with a garnish of chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Try different cheese like provolone or cheddar for a twist!
