Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls
A quick, savory breakfast or snack: ham and cheese baked in crescent dough with a flavorful garlic butter topping.

Ingredients

crescent roll dough
8 oz can (8 pieces)

deli Black Forest ham
8
slices
Swiss cheese
3
tbsp
salted butter
½
tsp
garlic powder
1
tbsp
black sesame seeds
Fresh parsley
for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate the crescent dough into 8 individual triangles after unrolling.
Lay one slice of ham on each triangle of dough, then add a folded slice of Swiss cheese on top.
Roll each one tightly, starting from the wide end and moving to the tip, to completely seal the filling inside.
Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, melt the butter in a bowl suitable for the microwave. Mix in the garlic powder.
Take the rolls out of the oven after 10 minutes and brush the garlic butter onto each one. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
Place them back into the oven and bake for an extra 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Finish with a garnish of chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Try different cheese like provolone or cheddar for a twist!
