Cherry Chicken Teriyaki Grilled Chicken Skewers

These grilled chicken skewers are perfect for Summer entertaining. Flavorful marinade with fresh or frozen sweet cherries. Grilled to perfection for an easy Summer dinner or lunch meal prep!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • ¾ cup Teriyaki Marinade
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chopped cherries
  • Dash of red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper cut into large pieces
  • ½ large onion quartered
  • 2 cups pineapples chunks

Instructions

  • In a large bowl (or Zip-lock bag) combine the chicken pieces, Teriyaki marinade, garlic, cherries, and red pepper flakes.
  • Give everything a stir so that all of the ingredients are well covered.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes but preferably 2-3 hours.
  • When you are ready to cook, take the chicken out of the marinad and thread onto wooden skewers along with the pepper pieces,onion pieces, and pineapple chunks.
  • Heat up your grill and cook until the chicken is cooked through (approximately 10-15 minutes) flipping halfway.
  • Serve and enjoy as is, over rice, or over some greens for a salad!
