Cookies and Cream Protein Shake
This Oreo protein shake tastes like a cookies and cream milkshake, with 41 grams of protein from Greek yogurt, milk, and a scoop of vanilla protein powder. I love sweets too much to give them up, so this is how I get my Oreo fix on a regular weekday.

For the shake
- 3/4 cup milk (I use Fairlife ultra-filtered)
- 1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or cookies and cream)
- 2 teaspoons dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup ice cubes plus more for a thicker shake
- 2 Oreo Thins
For topping (optional)
- Crushed Oreos
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate syrup
Pour the ¾ cup milk into a blender, then add the ¼ cup Greek yogurt, the scoop of protein powder, the 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, and the ½ cup ice.
Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth with no ice chunks left.
Drop in the 2 Oreo Thins. Pulse 3 or 4 times, just until the cookies break into small pieces.
Pour into a glass. Top with crushed Oreos, whipped cream, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup if you like, and drink right away.
Protein: The total depends on your protein powder and milk. With Fairlife milk and a scoop with about 25 grams of protein, it comes out to about 41 grams.
Make-Ahead: Blend the base without the ice and Oreos and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours. Blend again with the ice, then pulse in the Oreos.
Leftovers: Freeze any extra shake in an ice cube tray and use the cubes in place of ice next time.
