Recipe Ingredients
You’ll need the following ingredients to make this protein oreo shake:
Ingredients Notes
Vanilla Protein Powder: The protein powder is the main ingredient of protein in this shake. Use your favorite protein powder!
Oreo Thins: The Thins offer a good balance of Oreo flavor without overwhelming the shake with crunchiness. If you’re using regular Oreos, break them into smaller pieces for better blending.
Milk: You can also choose any milk but my favorite is Fairlife Ultra Filtered Milk because it has extra protein. Coconut milk, skim milk, or almond milk all work too!
Dark cocoa powder: I use Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa Powder.

Recipe Variations
Switch the vanilla protein powder with chocolate for a rich, chocolaty version of this shake.
Add a spoonful of peanut butter, chia seeds, or flaxseeds for added healthy fats and fiber that will keep you fuller for longer.
Pile on the toppings like Extra Oreos, or switch it up with fresh fruit like strawberries or bananas.
How to Make This Oreo Shake Recipe: Step by Step
Here are quick visual instructions. Be sure to check out the full instructions with exact ingredients in the printable recipe card below.
Step 1: Add the milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, cocoa powder, and ice cubes to a blender.
Step 2: Blend these ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Ensure there are no large ice chunks.
Step 3: After the base is well-blended, add the 2 Oreo Thins to the blender. Pulse the blender briefly to incorporate the Oreos into the shake. The goal is to have small chunks of Oreo throughout the shake, not to pulverize them completely.
Step 4: Pour the shake into a glass. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of crushed Oreos, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup.
