Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 8 whole pepperoncini peppers do not discard the juice from the jar
  • ¾ cup juice from pepperoncini jar
  • ½ cup 1 stick butter sliced

Instructions

  • Spray a large slow cooker with a non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add the diced onion to the bottom of the prepared slow cooker, then place the chicken on top of the onion.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy packets over the chicken.
  • Add pepperoncini, pepperoncini juice, and butter over top of the chicken.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4-5 or low for 6-7 hours.
  • Use forks to shred the chicken, then serve it hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
