- 1 can of black beans rinsed and drained
- ¼ cup of cocoa powder
- 1 ripped banana
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ¼ cup of coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts
- ½ cup gluten-free flour
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and walnuts in a good food processor, and blend until completely smooth.
Stir in walnuts and and chocolate chips.
Line a sheet pan with baking paper. Pour and extend the batter. Optional: sprinkle extra chocolate chips over the top.
Cook the black bean brownies for 20 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
